Absolutely not! Hypnosis cannot make anyone do something they normally would not do. You still have free will, are capable of lying or not answering questions. Your subconscious will always protect itself from harm.
During a session, you will be guided into a relaxed state where you can focus on specific issues or goals. The hypnotherapist will use suggestions and imagery to help you achieve your desired outcomes. You remain in control and aware throughout the session.
That depends! There are several factors that determine how many sessions you will need - what we are working on, what your beliefs are, how committed to change you are, etc.! Simple issues may only require one session! On average however, many issues can be addressed in around 6 sessions. Incredibly complex, long lasting issues may require more.
